These terms apply to churches, ministries, nonprofits, ministry leaders, event organizers, employers, and other organizations that create or manage organizational profiles or tools on ChristConnect.
12.1 Authority
The person creating or managing an organization account represents that they are authorized to act for that organization and to bind it to applicable ChristConnect terms.
12.2 Accurate Organization Information
- Legal or commonly used organization name;
- Accurate contact and location information;
- Truthful leadership, denomination, ministry, safeguarding, event, job, and donation information; and
- Any licenses, charitable status, tax status, or verification claims only when valid and current.
12.3 Donations and Fundraising
Organizations receiving donations are responsible for lawful fundraising, use of funds, donor receipts, charitable solicitation registrations, tax disclosures, sanctions compliance, and truthful campaign descriptions. ChristConnect may require verification before enabling giving features.
12.4 Safeguarding
Organizations that interact with minors or vulnerable people are responsible for appropriate safeguarding policies, background checks where required, supervision, reporting obligations, volunteer screening, and local legal compliance. A ChristConnect profile does not certify an organization's safeguarding practices unless expressly stated.
12.5 Events, Jobs, and Volunteer Opportunities
Organizations are responsible for accurate listings, lawful hiring or volunteer practices, accessibility disclosures where required, participant safety, refunds, cancellations, insurance, and any licenses or permits related to an event or activity.
12.6 Content and Livestream Rights
Organizations must have rights to upload or stream sermons, music, images, videos, graphics, courses, and other content. Music and Bible translation licensing may require separate permissions.
12.7 No Endorsement
Unless ChristConnect expressly states otherwise, organization presence, verification, ranking, recommendation, or listing is not an endorsement of doctrine, leadership, financial stewardship, safety practices, employment practices, or quality.
12.8 Organization Administrators
Organizations are responsible for controlling administrator access, promptly removing former staff, protecting credentials, and maintaining appropriate permissions for communications, donations, member data, and content.
12.9 Suspension
ChristConnect may restrict or suspend organization accounts for fraud, deceptive fundraising, abuse, child-safety concerns, illegal conduct, impersonation, repeated community violations, or other material policy violations.
