Child, Teen & Family Safety / Age Policy

11.1 Minimum Ages

| Christian Dating | 18+ only, with independent age gating and no teen-to-dating migration without adult re-verification. |
11.2 Parent and Guardian Responsibilities
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors under their care and for approving access, purchases, communications, and permissions where required. Family features should provide clear account roles and should not expose a child's precise location, private content, or contact information publicly.
11.3 Teen Safety Defaults
- Private-by-default profiles or restricted discoverability;
- No dating access;
- Limited adult-to-teen direct messaging and discovery;
- No public precise location;
- Stronger restrictions on contact requests, external links, money requests, and image sharing;
- Fast reporting/blocking and child-safety escalation; and
- Age-appropriate recommendations and content filters.
11.4 Child Safety Zero-Tolerance Rules
ChristConnect prohibits child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualization of minors, sextortion, trafficking, attempts to arrange sexual contact with minors, and other child exploitation. The platform may preserve and report relevant information to appropriate authorities or child-safety organizations when required or permitted by law.
11.5 Purchases and Donations by Minors
Purchases, subscriptions, or donations by minors should require the authorization and payment consent required by applicable law, app-store rules, and product settings. Parents should have accessible controls for family billing where supported.
11.6 Education and Family Content
Bible stories, family devotionals, quizzes, and educational content are informational and may reflect particular Christian interpretations. Parents remain responsible for determining what content is appropriate for their family.
